Daniel J. Conidi is the founder and managing partner of Alliant Law Group, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. He is a nationally renowned immigration defense lawyer who represents clients in Chicago, Illinois and around the globe. With his practice, Alliant Law Group, LLC, he regularly appears before U.S. immigration courts, the Department of Homeland Security and numerous federal circuit and district courts. In addition to his immigration practice, Mr. Conidi also handles federal criminal defense matters including: human smuggling, human trafficking, re-entry after deportation, federal weapons trafficking, federal drug trafficking, mail fraud or wire fraud, racketeering (RICO Act), white collar crime, internet sex crimes & child pornography, federal appeals, and post-conviction relief. Mr. Conidi was employed as a Senior Special Agent Criminal Investigator for the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Department of Justice for over 26 years. As a Special Agent, he worked in all aspects of the immigration mission both criminally and administratively. While working as a Special Agent, he could see a real need for compassionate and competent advocates for individuals and companies forced to deal with the federal legal system. Passionate about the law, Mr. Conidi has earned a reputation as a tenacious trial lawyer who aggressively pursues the most favorable outcomes possible on behalf of his clients to help them achieve the justice they seek. Mr. Conidi greatly enjoys giving back to his community and often engages in volunteer work. He provides pro bono representation to individuals who cannot afford legal counsel, as a member of the Chicago Bar Association and assists nonprofit groups that facilitate mentoring to Chicago youths.
